In a day and age when technology is being integrated into everything we do, Hackathons have recently been joining forces with other unlikely events in collaborations created to keep this influence of technology growing positively. The goals of these challenges are to enhance user experiences, provide everyday solutions, brainstorm new products, and positively impact the way we live, work, and play using technology. In addition, these hackathons give independent developers, freelancers, and entrepreneurs the opportunities to create these solutions.
The latest in this collaboration is presented by one of the country’s most popular music experiences, and New Orleans-based who have been responsible for producing multiple software coding marathons with major national sporting and music events. In its inaugural year, Codemkrs has already partnered with and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, bringing music, culture, and technology together at their unique events. Their latest challenge: Nashville’s four-day music and camping festival.
